- Acupuncture, acupressure massage, cupping, guasha, ear acupressure (in person)
- Guided use of self-acupressure, moxibustion and guasha
- At-home exercises and meditations

*Chinese herbal medicine is an ancient art of combining medicinal herbs into a custom prescription for each patient. The combinations strengthen the desired effects of the herbs, while minimizing side effects. We typically use between 8 and 18 herbs in each formula. Herbs come in their dried form for boiling at home, or in granules, tablets, capsules, tinctures, washes, soaks and more for easy consumption. We are trained to take into account what other herbs, supplements and medications you are on for safety reasons.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is an ancient medical system that has been used for over 2000 years. It is a holistic medicine that visualizes body "systems" disorders rather than focusing on a specific symptom. It diagnoses, treats, and prevents diseases based on the core theory that diseases result from imbalances in the body's vital forces and substances.

Acupuncture is the most well-known form of TCM treatment. There are other therapeutics that may be used alone or alongside acupuncture, such as acupressure, Chinese Herbal Medicine, cupping (used to detach muscle adhesions and accelerate healing of trauma), gua sha (used to improve blood circulation and lymphatic drainage), tui na (a Chinese manual therapy), moxibustion (burning mugwort herb near or indirectly on the body for various purposes) and lifestyle suggestions.

Facial Acupuncture is a specialized form of acupuncture that focuses on improving the health and appearance of the face. Unlike traditional acupuncture, which targets the body’s overall balance and wellness, cosmetic and facial acupuncture hones in on specific points and techniques that promote skin health, reduce signs of aging, and enhance facial features.

Acupuncture service can be provided by a Naturopathic Doctor or a Registered Acupuncturist.
